On January 21, 2010, a meeting of the state secretary, deputy RF Minister of Interior Nikolay Aleksandrovich Ovchinnikov with the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation Li Hui took place at the Ministry of Interior of Russia..
During the negotiations the parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation of the RF Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of public safety of the People's Republic of China and exchanged their opinions on basic issues of the Russian-Chinese interaction in the law enforcement sphere.
The State secretary, deputy RF Minister of Interior N.A.Ovchinnikov brought into focus the high level of interaction of the Ministry of Interior of Russia and the public safety militia of the People's Republic of China and emphasized that the institute of representatives of law enforcement bodies at embassies of the foreign states had made an essential contribution to it.
In his turn, Li Hui assured that the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Moscow would continue rendering comprehensive support and assistance to the Ministry of Interior of Russia in interests of strengthening of the two states' partnership in the law enforcement sphere.
In conclusion of the conversation the state secretary, deputy RF Minister of Interior N.A Ovchinnikov handed over a departmental medal of the Ministry of Interior of Russia "For comradeship-in-arms" to the official representative of the public safety militia of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation Zhu Ronghui, thus appreciating his considerable contribution to the development of the all-round Russian and Chinese cooperation in the sphere of the law enforcement activity.
