In Mogoytuisky Region of the Aginsky Okrug, a book "On Guard of Law" was published summarizing the entire history of the establishment and development of the Internal Affairs bodies of the Mogoytuisky Region starting from March 1943 up to the present.
The work on the book started as far back as in 2008. It brought together the active policemen, veterans, and local journalists. The publication of the book was made possible due to the support of the Veterans' Council of Russia's UMVD for Trans-Baikal Krai. The presentation of the book "On Guard of Law" took place in the local entertainment center. The solemn meeting was attended by the district's authorities, clergyman, Aginsky Okrug policemen, and veterans.
The stage was in turns taken by those who served in the Mogoytuisky militia form the 60s to the 90s, who struggled with crime in the area at various times doing their duty with honour, and whose cause is still worthy of a younger generation.
Opening the event, Police Chief Colonel Lieutenant Bayarta Badzhamalov of the inter-municipal department "Aginsky" of Russia's MVD called the publication of the book a milestone. According to him, the book can help perform an important task of educating young employees by examples of the older generations, and making them proud of their profession, team and small motherland.
