In Khabarovsk Krai, road policemen take part in action "Auto-Motor-Donor"
The All-Russian action "Auto-Motor-Donor" has become traditional in our country. The first action took place in August in 2009 under the motto "No matter how many wheels or how much horsepower, we all have one volume - 5 litres". The action aims at attracting owners of cars and motor vehicles to donating blood.
Patrol and guard service inspectors actively participate in such actions. Minimum 30-40 employees take part in them. Within one day, the blood bank received over 100 litres of blood.
Car accident victims need blood every day. Each one realizes that by donating blood, they can contribute to the road safety.
The plague of Russian roads is car accidents which victims often need an emergency medical help. Policemen want no blood to be shed on the roads of the Krai and the country on the whole, and hope that each blood drop of policemen and drivers will help those in need of it.
