Sergei Bulavin awards distinguished policemen in Tatarstan
On January 25, 2011, an extended meeting of the Ministry Board on the results of 2011 took place in the auditorium of the main building of Ministry of Interior for the Republic of Tatarstan.
The meeting brought together President Rustam Minnikhanov of the Republic of Tatarstan, Police Lieutenant General Sergey Bulavin, the State Secretary and Deputy Minister of the Interior, Interior Minister Police Lieutenant General Asgat Safarov of the Republic of Tatarstan, and other officials.
In his speech, Minister of the Interior Asgat Safarov said: "Our motto reads "Reform. Professionalism. Trust". The reform is undoubtedly last year's most significant event for our entire system. Our task was to complete all the reform stages in a timely manner, and we were able to successfully achieve this objective in full". The minister also announced a new slogan for 2012 - "Dialogue. Partnership. Safety".
Lieutenant General Sergey Bulavin, the State Secretary and Deputy Minister of the Interior: "It is quite remarkable that 2011 went under the motto "Reform. Professionalism. Trust" in the MVD for the Republic of Tatarstan. The activity of Interior Ministry for the Republic of Tatarstan has not subsided. Moreover, it was intensified in some areas. These are the first fruit of the reform. The main thing is that the citizens can feel it as well. The polls of the independent public opinion survey groups show that the level of the public trust is growing. The essential goal of the reform is to ensure that the citizens of Tatarstan and all Russia feel safe".
President Rustam Minnikhanov of the Republic of Tatarstan: "Today, is one of the key indicators of our life is the territorial security, security of property, law and order in our republic. The MVD of the Republic of Tatarstan plays a huge role in the republic's law enforcement system".
At the meeting, state awards were conferred on the police officers who had achieved high performance in their work and service and showed personal courage.
Awards - the Order of "Friendship", medals and badge, notes of acknowledgment, honorary weapons - were distributed by President Rustam Minnikhanov of the Republic of Tatarstan and Police Lieutenant General Sergey Bulavin, the State Secretary and Deputy Minister of the Interior.
Also, a number of law enforcement officers received departmental awards of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Tatarstan.
