Employees of Sverdlovsk militia held open lesson for first-graders

On the threshold of the new school year the private security service management at the Central Internal Affairs Directorate in Sverdlovsk region held an open lesson for children of militia employees of first school grades.

The meeting started with a conversation about the history of the police in Russia. The inspector of the department protection for the personnel, educational and organization work lieutenant colonel of militia Vadim Ando showed the children how policemen looked three centuries ago and showed the contemporary militia officer's equipment and weapons. The children were especially fond of trying on militia helmets and bullet-proof jackets, holding real weapons (a Makarov pistol and a Kalashnikov assault rifle) in hands. Feeling themselves real militia officers the children got themselves photographed together with their parents as a keepsake.

After that, the young visitors were invited to an entertaining game to check their knowledge of traffic safety rules and to remind them of the fundamental rules of safe behavior in streets. The meeting was concluded by a tea party and a delivery of stationary which will be of use at school.
