Militia employees received keys from new office cars in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area
In Nadym city, militia employees were solemnly delivered keys from six new specialized UAZ cars in pursuance of the regional program of intensification of the struggle against criminality, enforcement of the law and order and prevention of offences in the territory of Nadym district.
The event timed to the 79th Anniversary of Nadym militia took place before the building of the Internal Affairs Directorate. All employees of the regional Internal Affairs Directorate was arranged in a solemn array.
The head of Nadym district Lev Zakharov congratulated the militia officers on the holiday and handed over keys from the cars. During the solemn event all the new cars were consecrated according to an orthodox rite. Priest Evgeniy of the parish of the sanctifier Nikolay the Wonderworker's Temple blest the new automobiles for good deeds and sprinkled them with holy water.
In conclusion of the event the sergeants and officers of the regional Internal Affairs Directorate marched in a cadenced step to the march of Nadym militia, while the six new cars which have supplemented the motor vehicle pool of the law enforcement officers made a lap of honor.
