Safe road to school

The second stage of the All-Russia preventive campaign "Caution: children!" started in the territory of Magadan region. The primary goals of the campaign which will  continue up to September 13 are: to prepare school children for the new school year, to remind them of traffic safety rules and the rules of crossing streets safely, to prevent traffic accidents involving children.

Early in September, trivia games, competitions, conversations to check the knowledge of traffic safety rules will be arranged at schools, employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate are expected to take part in them.

Within the framework of the All-Russia operative preventive campaign "Caution: children!" inspectors carry out preventive activities "Caution, school child!" and "Your passenger is a child". Employees of the State Traffic Patrol Department trace the behavior of children on road and pay attention to the safety of transportation of underage passengers.

Directly on September 1 traffic militia squads will be in service near all schools. Militia officers consider that the safety of children on roads depends on every single human in the general traffic and urge drivers to be extremely attentive near schools and preschool centers as well as pedestrian crossings.
