Proficiency contest for employees of alert departments took place in Kirov region

Employees of alert departments faced challenges to check their branch background, technical and forensic knowledge, medical skills, weapons proficiency and physical condition.

During the technical and criminalistic proficiency challenge the militia officers demonstrated their knowledge in applying various special equipment, communication facilities, forensic equipment when handling practical problems. After that, a medical worker assessed their knowledge and skills of rendering of first medical aid.

During their range practice the competitors showed their knowledge of the internals of the Makarov pistol, the security measures when handling the weapon and certainly demonstrated their accurate shooting.

After that, the judges checked the participants' possession of skills of barehanded self-protection combat techniques, the ability to do chin-ups and to run a one kilometer cross-country race.

The best duty officer of Kirov region Vitaly Danilov will represent the region at the final stage of the proficiency competition for employees of alert departments which is due in October at Moscow institute of advanced training of employees of the Ministry of Interior.
