Kaluga militia receives letter of thanks for participation in work aimed at strengthening moral ideals

The interaction of the regional militia and Kaluga diocesan management of the Russian Orthodox Church is proven over years. A convincing and pleasant landmark on this way was the letter to the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate from the Metropolitan of Kaluga Kaluga and Borovsk who patronizes the diocese of Kaluga.

The metropolitan thanks the head and employees of Kaluga militia for the great amount of work aimed at the maintenance of safety during celebratory events on the occasion of Christmas in which many townsmen participated.

He remarks: "Many actions we carry out aiming at strengthening the good, love, compassion, peace and other Christian universal values in hearts of our citizens could not be carried out without your support... Your care about the needs of Kaluga Diocese is a real contribution to the mission of spiritual revival of our Native land which proves your special concern about the future of our state".

"I hope," - the Metropolitan writes, "that I will have your understanding and support in terms of work performed by Kaluga diocese to ensure the reinforcement of moral virtues. From the bottom of my heart I wish you peace and prosperity, mental and physical health, new successes and fruitful work for the sake of safety of Kaluga region".
