Starting service with sound of bells

A big bell weighing about half of a ton was delivered to the recently constructed St. Blessed Alexander Nevsky temple located in the territory of the separate operative brigade of the Central regional command of internal troops of the Ministry of Interior of Russia.

The bell is founded in the heart of Russia, in Voronezh, in master B.A.Podorozhniy's workshop. This workshop has been casting bells for parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in Russia and abroad for 30 years.

The prior of the temple father Feofan considers that after the big bell is mounted on the belfry it will be used not only for church services. Simply hearing its beautiful ring, many people will now think about themselves and their lives.

Although the temple is erected in memory of soldiers of the brigade who sacrificed themselves for the sake of their friends, it is open for the general public. Among those who have access to the temple are called up soldiers and sergeants, officers, ensigns, military men who serve under a contract and members of their families living in the military town. Besides, the temple is open for inhabitants of settlement Ashukino, too.
