Employees of private security service prevented all thefts from protected objects in Khabarovsk area

More than half of all crimes registered in the area (51,8%) are thefts of other people's property. Every third theft is related to the illegal penetration into apartments or various premises for storing goods.

Today, over five thousand objects of various property categories are under protection of private security units in the territory of Khabarovsk area among them are shops, banks, social objects and about 40000 apartments and other places where personal property of citizens is stored.

The continuous perfection of means of protection contributes to the high quality of the property protection. From primitive, mechanical security devices the private security units have proceeded to using newest electronic gauges and systems of wireless signal transfer of signals are in use more and more.

Employees of the private security service annually prevent hundreds assaults against the personal property in the area. In 2009, 321 such encroachments were prevented. No theft from protected apartments and objects has been successfully committed over the re4cent years.

Today, the "safety zones" are being expanded as small-scale wholesale and retail objects are equipped with militia alarm call facilities. Objects of this category are supplied with information tablets "Emergency militia call". In total, over thousand small-scale wholesale and retail trade objects in the area are under protection.

Since 2006, experts of the private security service management at the Internal Affairs Directorate in Khabarovsk area have been taking under protection objects of various property categories via a GSM-channel. This kind of protection has decreased the proprietor's expenses for mounting an alarm button, since the installation of special equipment is not necessary in this case, an inexpensive mobile phone and a standard SIM-card of one of communication providers are quite enough. For today, about a thousand objects are protected via the GSM-channel in the area.
