Rashid Nurgaliev: People, their rights and freedoms are of highest value for state and society

Today, a meeting of the RF Minister of Interior General of the Army Rashid Nurgaliev with cadets of educational institutions of the RF Ministry of Interior's system took place via videoconference facilities at the Ministry of Interior of Russia.

The focal point of the event was the issue of moral and intellectual foundation of service in law enforcement bodies. Addressing cadets of departmental high schools, the Head of the Ministry of Interior observed:

"The highest value of the state and the society is the people, their rights and freedoms. Law enforcement bodies are assigned a major mission of provide reliable security of the citizens' life and health against criminal encroachments."

Rashid Nurgaliev observed that the majority of employees of law enforcement bodies fairly served the country and the people. Among the basic priorities of the law enforcement bodies' activity is safeguarding of the rights and freedoms of citizens.

"Now the Ministry of Interior is developing a model of the 21^st-century expert, an employee capable of resisting to new challenges and threats, of applying the advanced technical achievements and the tactical solutions, possessing the wide moral and intellectual capacity," Rashid Nurgaliev emphasized. 

In conclusion of the meeting Rashid Nurgaliev answered the numerous questions of the cadets concerning various aspects of activity of the RF Ministry of Interior.
